How many sessions a year do you offer?

What kind of educational background is required for admission?
You must have an undergraduate degree with a regionally accredited college or university with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on all attempted college credits to satisfy the minimum requirements established by the M.P.H. portion of the dual degree.

Is a campus residency required?
No, the Online Dual M.B.A./M.P.H. program is completed entirely online and does not require a campus visit or residency.

Is there a thesis required?
No, the Online Dual M.B.A./M.P.H. program does not require a thesis.

Is an internship required?
Yes, the M.P.H. portion of the dual degree requires students to complete 180 hours to fulfill the M.P.H. internship requirement.

Do I have to apply separately to both programs?
Yes, but the application process has been streamlined for the Dual M.B.A./M.P.H. program to reduce duplicate work. Your application for admission to the Dual M.B.A./M.P.H. program will be reviewed by both the M.P.H. and M.B.A. departments.

Can the graduate entrance exam requirements be waived?
Yes, for the Dual M.B.A./M.P.H., the required graduate exams can be waived.

How many total credits are required?
The Online Dual M.B.A./M.P.H. program consists of 96 quarter credit-hours.

How many courses do I take per academic term?
On average, most working adult students take one online course per eight week session. The Dual M.B.A./M.P.H. program offers six academic sessions per year.

Can I transfer in equivalent course work?
Yes, up to 32 quarter credit-hours of equivalent graduate coursework completed with the grade of “B” or better within the last five years at a regionally accredited college or university will be reviewed for transfer credit approval. The other 64 credits must be earned online at Benedictine toward the 96 credit requirement for the online Dual M.B.A./M.P.H. program.
