Q. How and when do I get started?

Q. How many sessions a year do you offer?
A. In order to align with the demanding schedules of today's adult student, the AABA program offers 6 sessions per year. Request Information or contact an Admissions Advisor at (866) 295-3104 for the next session date.
Q. What kind of educational background is required for admission?
A. You must have a high school cumulative GPA of 2.5. Previous college needs to have been completed with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher. The admission committee considers all aspects of an admission file and exceptions to the minimum GPA requirements may be made on a case-by-case basis.
Q. How many total credits are required?
A. The Online AABA program consists of 62 credit hours. For answers to your questions regarding specific requirements, contact an Admissions Advisor at (866) 295-3104.
Q. How many courses do I take per academic term?
A. Students are expected to take two courses per session. However, students may decide to take fewer courses if needed. Likewise, Benedictine University runs courses based on demand and may not run all courses each term.
Q. How much time should I plan to spend on the program each week?
A. The academic experience varies by student, however we recommend that students plan to spend 15 hours per week for each course they take.
Q. Can I transfer in coursework from another institution?
A. Yes. Upon acceptance to the program, potential transfer credit will be evaluated and awarded as per the university's policies. Courses taken at a non-regionally accredited institution will not be considered. Up to 9 external credits can be transferred into the AABA program.
Q. Is advising available for all students?
A. Yes. Each student receives a customized Curriculum Planner for the online AABA program and can set up a telephone appointment to speak with an advisor whenever assistance is needed.
