Online Master of Public Health (MPH) - Health Management and Policy

The Master of Public Health with a Health Management and Policy Certificate is ideal for health care professionals who want to participate in policy development.

This certificate will help you develop skills to manage and develop policy for public health entities and programs.  You will learn to assess current practices and recommend changes and improvements based on societal needs, relevant laws and regulations, and cost effectiveness. Because health policy development and health program management require a broad base of knowledge across many disciplines, this certificate is applicable to professionals from all sectors. Likewise, the skills learned within the program can be applied to roles in government, for-profit, and non-profit organizations.

Health Management and Policy requires that the professional be able to assess the adequacy of current practices and recommend changes. Knowledge of the societal needs, the health profession, and healthcare law are all keys to policy development.
