Master of Public Health Program
Benedictine University’s Master of Public Health (MPH) program is the second largest in Illinois.
"Dear Prospective Student,
Welcome to Benedictine University's Master of Public Health Program. The degree you are seeking is simultaneously one of the most exciting and useful in today's world. The field of public health encompasses most of society's initiatives on behalf of the health and well being of its members. The specialties within Public Health range from the laboratory sciences and statistical specialties through management to communication and education. You may well find that some of your highly specialized skills, which were learned for quite another purpose, find realization in public health.
The variety of subject matters you will study is indeed broad and you will alternately feel yourself to be an amateur and an expert depending on your previous education and personal talents. But the synthesis of these educational experiences will enable you to work individually or in teams to define, research and address a variety of challenges facing our profession. You will find that we pay a lot of attention to you as learner since a meaningful learning is key to your future. I welcome your feedback and ideas as we are always seeking to evolve and improve our programs of learning.
I am looking forward to working with you."
Yours sincerely,
Alan Gorr,
